Janelle McMenamin is an award-winning Australian actor and filmmaker known for her versatile work across a range of mediums including film, TV, audio dramas and live theatre. Her most recent credits include feature films “Interceptor” and “Life After Man”, the upcoming “Wentworth” audio drama series and ABC’s “Rake” working alongside Richard Roxburgh and Kate Box.

Janelle has over 15 years experience in theatre. Her credits show considerable diversity with roles in stage productions ranging from hit musicals such as “Hello Dolly” (Dolly), “Next To Normal” (Diana), “CATS” (Grizabella) and Kiss Me Kate (playing Bianca/Lois Lane and more recently, Kate/Lilli).

Janelle studied professionally at Screenwise Acting School under the multi-skilled Denise Roberts (GP, Packed to the Rafters) and worked with some brilliant people such as Director Benjamin Mathews (Emily, Deadbeat Dads), Actor George Spartels (Neighbours, Play School), US Dialect Coach Jennifer White (J. Edgar, Bikie Wars), and Director Stephen Wallace (Blood Oath, Turtle Beach).

Janelle is also a successful singer, voiceover artist and on screen presenter who has worked on numerous TV and radio commercials, animated shows and corporate films.

Most recently, Janelle has been developing a number of screen projects with award winning actor and filmmaker, Kaitlyn Boyé (Home and Away, The Furies, Rendel 2), through their partnership, Hey Buddy Productions.
